Mental health literacy training (knowledge and awareness of various mental illnesses and supporting others who may be struggling with mental health problems and illnesses) for both community leaders and the general public Consulting with organizations about addressing mental health in the workplace and supporting their employees Consulting with organizations about creating a triage process to refer individuals struggling with mental health issues to the appropriate professional services Creating a network/directory of mental health services for Muslims (which I am currently working on) Training mainstream mental health service providers to be aware of cultural and religious factors when working with Muslims clients Addressing mental health in the context of domestic violence With respect to sexual health education, the following are what we provide: Consultation with community leaders and members to determine the most important areas to address in their community through education and training Training for community leaders on creating safe and respectful work environments, safe spaces for disclosure of sexual violence, policies and procedures to protect victims and hold perpetrators accountable, etc Sexual violence prevention training for community members and how to support individuals to disclose Child sexual abuse education for parents Supporting Muslim youth and young adults in creating and sustaining sexual health through education (for example, running a healthy relationships curriculum with junior high and high school students) Islamic sexual health - what does our faith say about healthy and spiritual intimacy Parent education - supporting your child's sexual health  Title IX - supporting college students on campus with respect to sexual assault Interfaith training on sexual violence  Sexual health curricula for Islamic schools and community groups working with Muslim students
